Walk: 'Beyond Borders'

With Brexit looming, this walk will explore the broader hinterland of the border Tyrone shares with counties Donegal and Fermanagh. What can be learned from the landscape and our past- and can we move beyond borders in a shared space and place? This route will follow the border in many sections and explore whether the past holds any answers.

Distance: 14km

Duration: Approx 7 hours ( Break for lunch, please bring your own packed lunch and at least 1 litre of water)

Ability: Challenging/ Hillside, Bog, Track

Suitable for participants with a high level of fitness who hike on a regular basis.
Minmum age for children is 14 and must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting Point: Killeter Community Hall

Start Time: 9am

Please arrive at registration point no later than 8.30am to begin the walk.Transport will be provided from meeting point to and from walk start/end.

Participant Consent/Medical Forms to be completed on the day.

Hiking boots are essential wear and waterproof clothing is highly recommended. Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission if not fully equiped for the terrain and conditions.
